My Take on Greenway Condos

Greenway Condos are two sister buildings that went up in 1980 in the Greenway Plaza business district. It's in kind of a sweet spot because you're between Downtown and the Galleria, and also close enough to Richmond Ave to be walkable to all the shops and restaurants there. There's even a Costco within walking distance, but good luck carrying it all home! Speaking of the location I have to mention that Lakewood Church is nearby which creates some traffic issues at certain times, so you'll want to be mindful of that with your planning.
The condos here are pretty spacious with most of the 2/2 units falling in the 1500-1800 square foot range, and even the 1/1 units are around 1000 square feet. Many of them have been renovated over the years so each is slightly different with a good variety of views too. There are no "cookie cutter condos" here, and if you looked at 30 homes here you'd probably find 30 completely different condos.
I've helped a lot of Greenway buyers and sellers and it's one of my favorite Houston high-rises because you get a lot for your money when you consider the location, condo sizes and amenities. This building is investor friendly too with quite a few units being leased out. That's good too for people who want to lease first to try out the high-rise lifestyle before committing to buying one.
Amenities at Greenway include a heated outdoor pool, a community room, and a professional staff ready to help with valet parking, porter services and concierge. There's not a gym on site but just across the street is a LifeTime Fitness for a luxury gym experience. Many longtime residents of Greenway have told me they plan to stay here due to the comfort and convenience this well managed high-rise community provides.
