My Take on Live Oak Lofts

Live Oak Lofts is an urban loft community on the eastern edge of Downtown Dallas, offering a blend of true loft character and practical condo living in a modern building. These large lofts are some of the most reasonably-priced options in the Uptown / Downtown area. Even though the building was built in 1998 the design of the lofts is pretty timeless making it feel much more contemporary than it actually is.
The Live Oak Lofts typically feature high ceilings, exposed ductwork or beams, large windows, and open concept floor plans that give each home a flexible, soft-loft feel. Many units include hardwood or concrete floors and contemporary kitchens with stone counters and stainless appliances. The layouts tend to emphasize wide living spaces that can be configured for work, entertaining, or creative use. Some have been updated throughout the years with more defined spaces.

Live Oak Lofts are very close to Deep Ellum and Downtown / Arts District. There's a DART rail station nearby too for easy access beyond the downtown area. The area around the building has really grown in the last 25 years and we don't expect that to slow down anytime soon.
Amenities are few but all very useful, which helps keep the HOA dues reasonable. Owners enjoy a community pool and courtyard area, fitness room, secure building access, and gated garage parking. If you're sensitive to noise consider one of the inward-facing lofts with a view of the courtyard. Because that space is so big you get a good view of the sky and even some buildings without being exposed to the road noise of the outside-facing units. But if you want the dramatic skyline view look for those outside units facing downtown.
