My Take on The Ruston

The Ruston is a boutique residential community located in the up-and-coming Cedars neighborhood just outside Downtown Dallas. The Cedars has continued to evolve with new restaurants, creative spaces, bars and residences while still staying relatively affordable compared to Uptown. There are more and more living options there too with The Beat high-rise and a few newer townhome communities. In fact the location is one of the building’s primary strengths, with residents enjoying quick access to downtown Dallas, DART rail, Deep Ellum, South Side on Lamar, and major highway connections.
This 2025 condo building offers a terrific list of amenities usually found in much bigger and higher-end buildings. You'll find a community reflection pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, theater room, wine room, resident lounge, clubhouse, conference room, dog run with dog washing station, pickleball court, putting green, and an outdoor lounge & grilling area.
