My Take on The Mercer

You've probably seen The Mercer standing there on Sage at 30 stories looking impossibly thin and thought it looked a little lonely. That could be because there were originally going to be two Mercer towers but the market shifted during development and we only got one. When I see it I think of those tall thin "pencil towers" going up in Manhattan by Central Park. That design fits though because at The Mercer there are only two condos per floor, so you get private, low-density living with views in three directions. Each condo here other than the Penthouse is the same 3 bedroom, 2 bath configuration that clocks in at 2155 square feet with a large terrace. That's a lot of condo for the price as these typically sell in the $600k range. Each one has a formal dining room too that I've seen residents repurpose as a den. The flexible large floor plans really do live like single-family homes in the sky.
Amenities at The Mercer rival those of larger towers, and the best part is you only have to share them with 54 other owners. You'll find a resort-style pool and spa, a fitness center, full-time concierge lobby attendant, valet parking, community room, and a guest suite you can reserve for visitors. This is a pet-friendly building and there's even a secure dog run on site.
The location is very walkable, with Richmond just a block to the south and the Galleria a few blocks to the north. Since there are no other large towers nearby the views are pretty much unobstructed too.
